Mike Campbell Becomes CSO at Data Center Company Equinix
Mr. Mike Campbell has moved into the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) position at data center company Equinix. Equinix has head offices in Redwood City, California, United States and manages an extensive network of carrier-neutral data centers. The company provides internet and cloud services including enterprise solutions. The move is intended to enhance Equinix’s growth opportunities.

A 30-year industry veteran, Mr. Campbell became Equinix’s Senior Vice President of Sales in 2015. He has considerable team management experience and before joining Equinix had roles at companies like Symantec, NCR, CompuServe, and WorldCom. In his new role he will lead Equinix's Global Accounts, Business Development and Channel Programs activity and be responsible for managing regional sales teams across the world with the aim of “delivering more tightly integrated solutions to customers”. He will also be in charge of the Equinix’s Global Solutions Architects, Business Development and Professional Services teams.
