With Plesk managed servers integrated with ModernBill, Web hosting providers have a scalable and automated end-to-end hosting environment.

Controlling Billing on Plesk Servers Selected by 8 of the top 10 U.S. service providers and by the top five European service providers, the Plesk 7 control panel dramatically simplifies the management of UNIX, Linux, and Windows-based servers. Proven
through years of professional production usage, Plesk is considered the industry benchmark for managing dedicated and shared single server environments.
By using ModernBill's integrated order form, end-users can choose from available Plesk accounts. These accounts can be configured for an endless number of add-ons like extra disk space or extra bandwidth and can be billed on either a recurring or one-time basis. ModernBill supports 6 billing cycles and can be configured to prorate for billing on a single day per month or on the anniversary of the billing cycle.
By purchasing ModernGigabyte's FraudGuardian service, Web hosting providers can completely automate the processing fraud scoring of each order in the system. The order can be processed on any one of the 20 support gateway processors, including ModernAuthorize.net. Once funds are secured, ModernBill can automate the creation of the Plesk accounts onto the Plesk servers. By using an API Queue and background crons, ModernBill calls the appropriate Plesk server using Plesk's Creation Utilities.
Using Server Groups to Differentiate Levels of Service ModernBill's server groups feature allows hosts to easily cluster their Plesk servers for scalability and balanced package loading. This feature allows hosts to designate which Plesk accounts get assigned to a particular server group. Furthermore, accounts will be assigned to the servers in that group according to the fill order designated by the host. By having multiple server groups, hosting providers can differentiate levels of service. This makes scaling the system up very easy as new Plesk servers can be added to server groups quickly and easily.
Domain Registration Automation with Plesk ModernBill's built-in domain registration automation further automates the deployment of the Plesk packages. The advanced integration with registrars like Register.com allows customers to completely manage their domain information from within ModernBill. The Plesk module reports the correct IP address to the registrar to facilitate the domain registration over multiple servers. A syncing process even keeps your IP list up-to-date and recycles unused IPS on Plesk servers.
Once the Plesk account is created on the server, a welcome email is sent to the end-user notifying them as to how they can access the services they have received. Hosting providers can continually upsell customers from within ModernBill using the Add-ons and Upgrade features. When customers enter the client interface, they can buy additional services that the provider make available. Upgrades (like migrating from a Silver Package to a Gold Package) will be appropriately billed and the changes will be added to the API Queue for complete automation.
ModernBill will also suspend Plesk accounts for lack of payment and re-enable the package with payment automatically. Packages can also be manually suspended and unsuspended or deleted from within ModernBill. ModernBill also tracks bandwidth usage on accounts and can charge for overages when invoices are created and automatically delivered by email.
When properly configured, ModernBill and SWsoft's Plesk make a completely automated service delivery system a reality for the masses. It empowers customers to make choices for themselves and greatly reduces the amount of support required to manage a hosting business.
