December 19, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Microsoft Exchange Host 123Together.com (http://www.123Together.com) is offering Hosted Exchange 2007 with Service Pack 1, the company announced yesterday. 123Together is now offering new dedicated Exchange hosting customers the option of utilizing Local Continuous Replication (LCR) or Cluster Continuous Replication (CCR) services with Exchange 2007 dedicated servers.
123Together’s LCR option allows for a fully redundant mirror of all hosted data to be maintained on the customer’s Exchange Server on secondary storage devices. The CCR option allows customers to have an alternate server that maintains a full mirror of their data. By utilizing 123Together.com for their Microsoft Exchange Server needs customers can take advantage of these latest technologies which have been improved with Exchange Server 2007 SP1 and maximize their server availability and uptime.
The Outlook Web Access, which is offered with Exchange Server 2007, was redesigned to enhance ease of use and has been further upgraded with Service Pack 1 to offer even more enhancements. These include Public Folder Access, which allows users to share documents and access files via an Outlook and OWA and also use search capabilities, enhanced security, which allows users to encrypt outgoing messages and attachments so that only intended recipients who have a digital certificate can read them, and WebReady Document Viewing, which changes Word documents, Excel worksheets and PowerPoint presentations into HTML files allowing documents to be viewed as a web page.
In addition to these key OWA enhancements, Service Pack 1 also provides 123Together.com customers access to other OWA features such as personal distribution lists, recovery of deleted items, monthly calendar views, and additional language support in spell check.
Service Pack 1 now allows 123Together.com to assist its customers in migrating to its Exchange 2007 platform by also providing the ability to import Outlook .pst files directly to the exchange server. This service allows small and medium sized enterprises to migrate from older versions of Exchange to Exchange 2007 SP1 hosted by 123Together.com over a night or a weekend by just providing access to the mailbox data.
