Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) has launched a private cloud in Canada. TCS, which has headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, is a consulting company and part of the world famous Tata Group. Established in 1968, it operates in 46 countries. Its new “next-generation” private cloud targets Canadian enterprises and aims to “speed up their digital journey”.
Known as ‘Enterprise Cloud Platform’ (ECP), TCS’ services offers “multiple, flexible cloud infrastructure options”. These include Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and hybrid cloud options. The services also allows companies to operate within Canada’s strict data sovereignty laws and enables enterprises to “adopt the cloud through easy transformations”.
“We are extending our state-of-the-art cloud offerings to customers in Canada and reinforcing the pivotal role we play in their ongoing digital transformation journeys,” said TCS’ Global Head, Cloud Infrastructure, Satishchandra Doreswamy. “Our end-to-end cloud services and solutions portfolio, assessment tools, and a robust framework for cloud foundation and migration, make TCS a trusted partner of choice.”
