January 27, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH) – NCS Technologies (http://www.ncsapp.com), a leading provider of servers, internet appliances, notebooks, desktops and industrial computers, has announced the launch of three ultra-compact server appliance platforms including the NCSAPP 110-P – a fanless and diskless low-cost appliance platform suitable for applications such as web hosting, email filtering, firewall, Virtual Private Network (VPN) and security applications.
The NCSAPP 110-P is a 1U rack-mountable appliance that can be used as a set-top unit. It can be configured with Intel, Pentium 4, or Celeron processors and offers dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. Two additional Gigabit standalone or fail-over by-pass Ethernet ports can be added to the system using a low-profile PCI expansion slot.
