.NET hosting solutions provider DiscountASP.NET has reached Gold Hosting Competency in the Microsoft Partner Network. The Pasadena, California-based company manages datacenters in Europe and the USA and offers SaaS solutions alongside ASP.NET web hosting using the latest Windows software stacks. The company's achievement was based on its ability to address the needs of Microsoft customers and the completion of a series of tests that indicate its expertise with .NET technology. The company also had to participate in an annual survey and provide references from customers to indicate its "commitment to customer satisfaction".
Gold Hosting Competency indicates a company's commitment to Microsoft developers, a broad ranging insight in relation to Microsoft products, and shows a high level of innovation working within Microsoft solutions. The Microsoft Partner Network provides training and other resources to companies that provide Microsoft platform-based products and services. The title enables customers to find quickly and easily find solution providers that offer "superior experience and outcomes".
To qualify for Gold Hosting Competency, a company must employ or contract four Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCPs) with at least two MCPs having advanced credentials such as MCA: Windows Server: Directory, MCSE: Private Cloud, MCSE: Server Infrastructure, MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008, MCITP: Server Administrator on Windows Server 2008, or MCITP: Virtualization Administrator on Windows Server 2008 R2 and MCM: Windows Server 2008: Directory.
