Starting this month, NetFronts will make its collection of excess domain names available for sale to the public. Many of these names are already linked across the Internet, providing immediate extra publicity to their new owners. Pricing is set at $5 for a name expiring within 12 months, $10 for a name expiring in 12-24 months, and $10/year for a name expiring in more than two years. The company also evaluates available domain names for applicability to various non-profit organizations, and donates them when they find a match. Charities can use these names to help increase their current Web site's visibility, or even to create their very first Internet presence. In addition to these donations, NetFronts offers a 10% discount on web hosting to non-profits.
