June 4, 2009
June 4, 2009 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web host VPS.NET (http://vps.net) has announced the release of it's VPS Cloud API.

The API allows users and resellers the ability to manage all aspects of the VPS.NET Elastic Cloud offering, from deploying new nodes and VPS, to scheduling bursts of resources and much more, currently a PHP client is provided, but further versions in Ruby, Perl & .NET are planned.

Ditlev Bredahl, CEO of UK2 Group remarked, "With the VPS.NET API anybody can provide Elastic Cloud based VPS services, this opens a door for resellers to enter a market that until now was cost prohibitive for them, we continue our mission to bring the cloud to the masses".

VPS.NET unique approach to selling node based cloud resources for the deployment of VPS servers has proven a success with end users, selling over 1000 nodes on its first month out of beta.
