Web Host NEXCESS.NET Partners With R1soft to Offer Enhanced Backup Options
May 4, 2009 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting company NEXCESS.NET has partnered with R1soft to bring their cutting edge Continuous Data Protection (CDP) technology to our customers and internal systems.
R1soft's CDP technology allows for highly-efficient disk-based backups and includes features like bare-metal restores, centralized administration of backups and excellent cross-platform capabilities. CDP will allow us to more easily make backups of both Linux and Windows based servers.
We have already integrated the R1soft CDP software into our existing backup strategy for Window-based dedicated servers. We are evaluating whether to additionally offer it to Linux-based dedicated hosting customers as an optional add-on.
