Online technology review site PCMag.com has recognized web host
DreamHost in its 2015 “Business Choice Awards”. The company, which was established in 1997, helps “entrepreneurs and developers the world over bring their dreams to life on the Internet”. It caters to round 400,000 customers by offering a range of services alongside web hosting. These include domain registration and cloud storage. The company has won the PCMag Business Choice Award for the second year running.
The Business Choice Awards are given based on a survey of PCMag’s customers. The customers, both individuals and large and small businesses in a range of industries, gave feedback on the hardware, software, and services they use. DreamHost’s score for customer satisfaction was an impressive 9.7 out of 10. It also received a score of 9.7 out of 10 for "reliability" and 9.6 for "likelihood to recommend". In addition, it received 9.9 out of 10 for its technical support team’s quality and responsiveness. DreamHost believes a component of its success has been its investment of “several millions of dollars” to improve its network and hardware.
"We work hard to cater to software developers and entrepreneurs," explained Brett Dunst, the Vice President of Brand and Community at DreamHost. "To see our work reflected in these glowing survey results from PCMag's readers... It's... really something. You know? And to do something like this two years in a row? I just can't... I can't even."
