| May 19, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – President and CEO of data center operator and managed services company Peak 10, Inc. has been named as a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Carolinas Region in the United States. Finalists for the award are named by a panel of business, academic, and civic leaders judging against criteria that includes “innovation, financial performance, and personal business and community commitment”. Award winners will be announced on June 14, 2007. “To be named a finalist is a compliment directly attributable to Peak 10 as much as it is a compliment to me personally,” explained Mr. Jones. “I praise our experienced leadership team, which includes our industry-leading support staff and engineers who continue to make Peak 10’s success and growth possible.” Established in 2000, Peak 10 grew at a rate of 529 percent from 2002 to 2005 under Jones. In 2006, he was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, and Peak 10 was named to Inc. magazine's annual Inc. 500 ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the country for the second straight year. Key to Jones’ success has been empowering top managers and allowing them to make decisions in their areas of expertise. Through this policy Peak 10 has attracted and retained “some of the leading technology executives in the data center industry”. |
