Data Center Operator and Managed Services Provider Peak 10 Hosts Live Webcast |

August 1, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Data center operator and managed services provider Peak 10 (http://www.peak10.com) hosted a live webcast July 26, 2007 it was reported yesterday. This was the second in a series on the topic of virtualization.
Entitled “Virtualization for Business: Implementing an Effective Strategy for Primary and Secondary Sites”, the webcast covered aspects of “real-world applications of virtualization”, provided discussion on deployment and looked at a number of business cases. The webcast examined the applications of the technology in primary and secondary sites on dedicated and shared platforms. The webcast was presented by Monty Blight, Peak 10 Vice President of Managed Services, and Bill Cashman, the company’s Senior Solutions Engineer.
“The benefits of virtualization can be huge,” explained Mr. Cashman. “We’re well past the discovery phase of virtualization, to the point where so many companies are having success with it that we have a good handle on where the technology is a good fit and where it isn’t.”
