Perigon Networks Acquires Web Hosting Provider AmHosting.com

June 18, 2010 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Perigon Networks, Inc. announces the acquisition of AmHosting.com of Reno, NV, according to Anthony Valenti, Perigon's president and co-founder.

The acquisition of the AmHosting brand, its customer base and data center facilities in Reno was completed in December 2009. It greatly expands Perigon's existing footprint in the hosting industry, according to John Grange, executive vice president and co-founder.

"While Perigon Networks will continue to focus on its PowerDNN brand, AmHosting provides us the opportunity to diversify both our customer base and our technology demographic. The ability to grow by purchasing a long-established and trusted brand like AmHosting just does not present itself every day," said Grange.

AmHosting was originally established in 1997 under the name American Internet. It has been delivering business-class hosting and co-location solutions to customers worldwide for more than 13 years.

The combined PowerDNN and AmHosting brands support more than 25,000 customers worldwide with call centers operating in Bellevue, NE and Reno, NV. Perigon's technology infrastructure is also supported by data center operations in Bellevue, Reno, Sioux Falls, SD and Kansas City, MO.

"We are excited by the opportunities provided us through the operation of multiple brands from multiple locations," said Valenti. "Our product offerings, technology infrastructure and support solutions put us at the forefront of the industry."
