Mr. Peter Hart has joined Opulent Cloud.
Opulent Cloud, which has headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland, United States, specializes in managed cloud computing services. The company’s services extend to shared hosting, co-location, dedicated servers, hosted services, VoIP, IT security and telecommunications services offered through “two cloud deployments” in Miami, Florida and Dallas, Texas, United States. An additional Opulent Cloud facility will come online in Singapore later this year. Mr. Hart joins the company as Vice-President of Sales.
A 19-year industry veteran experienced in technology sales, Mr. Hart joins Opulent Cloud from VMware, Cisco and EMC joint venture VCE where he held the Senior Enterprise Account Manager role. Prior to this he has held positions at HP Cloud Services (Helion) where he was Cloud Sales Specialist, and managed hosting and colocation services provider Savvis where he was Senior Enterprise Sales Executive. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Pittsburgh. At Opulent Cloud his role will include finding new customers who “value the ‘white glove’ approach to managed computing”. He will also be in charge of national and international business partnerships.
