Primus will facilitate DSL and local telephone services using Zhone's Multi-Access Line Concentrator (MALC(TM)), the Tekelec 6000 VoIP (voice over Internet protocol) Application Server and Tekelec 9000 Distributed Switching Solution (Tekelec 9000).
Primus Canada's residential VoIP options are designed to appear as traditional telephone services to subscribers and offer a range of traditional service such as call forwarding. With services delivered over existing fixed telephone networks, the service allows users to make 911 emergency services.
