Prince Andrew Tours Go Daddy Group, Inc. Headquarters

February 13, 2008
February 13, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – The Prince Andrew, Duke of York, fourth in line to the British throne, was taken on a tour of the Scottsdale, Arizona headquarters of Go Daddy Group, Inc. yesterday. The Prince’s visit was in his capacity as the United Kingdom’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, a role which sees the Prince responsible for representing and promoting British business.

Before the tour of Go Daddy’s premises Prince Andrew met Go Daddy Group’s President and COO, Mr. Warren Adelman. Go Daddy recently announced they are evaluating “options for international development” and the United Kingdom is under consideration.

“I’m always delighted to speak to companies looking to invest in the UK. Arizona has a strong track record of doing that. I’d be equally delighted to see Go Daddy join that list and bring its Internet expertise to Britain,” suggested Prince Andrew after his tour.

"It was an honor to spend some time talking Go Daddy business with Prince Andrew," said Mr. Adelman. "There's no doubt, we are growing at a lightning fast pace. As the world’s largest domain registrar, it makes sense for us to look at a range of opportunities for expansion – including overseas."

After the tour Prince Andrew attended a reception hosted by Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano. The United Kingdom is Arizona’s sixth largest export market and the UK held a Trade & Investment conference in Phoenix last year.
