Professional services network provider Deloitte,
Google Cloud and enterprise software specialist SAP have announced collaboration.
Deloitte, which has global headquarters in New York, United States, is a globally recognized brand specializing in business areas like auditing, consulting, financial advice, risk management, and tax services. SAP, which has headquarters in Walldorf, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, specializes in software solutions that “help the world run better and improve people’s lives”. Another global player, SAP’s business solutions cover a number of areas including ERP, business intelligence, procurement, analytics, and ‘dashboarding’. Google Cloud, which has headquarters in Mountain View, California, United States, offers a full suite of cloud storage and computer options that include machine learning and ‘Big Data’. Together the companies will enable people to “devise a comprehensive cloud strategy, migrate their SAP applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and manage their entire cloud environment”.
SAP’s customers will be offered the ability to “digitally transform critical business processes and applications”, manage hyperscale cloud operations and modernize core infrastructure. GCP is authorized to offer a secure and reliable hosting environment to run SAP workloads. Deloitte will also offer a “full suite of solutions for running SAP applications on GCP” with initial solutions including the ‘Deloitte Invoice Management Solution’, which leverages SAP’s system to automate invoice processing.
