Parallels Summit, it was reported recently. The company will exhibit its “next-generation” Continuous Data Protection (CDP) software at the event, which is held today until February 4, 2009 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
R1Soft’s Founder and Vice President of David Wartell will speak at the event and introduce the features of the new CDP 3.0. Mr. Wartell will also talk about the rapid growth of data and the need for economical data protection solutions.

R1Soft was founded in 2003 and develops Continuous Data Protection (CDP) software. Its CDP Server 2.0 helps companies reduce IT costs by reducing hardware expenses. It is disk-based and synchronizes Windows and Linux servers on a “near-continuous” basis. The backups take a short time to restore and have “minimal impact on server performance”.
