(http://www.rackable.com), a leading provider of servers and storage products for large-scale data centers, has announced a partnership with NetApp to offer customers best-of-breed server and storage solutions for enterprise environments. Under terms of the agreement, Rackable Systems is joining NetApps Embedded Systems Vendor Program and will integrate NetApp® storage into Rackable Systems built-to-order Eco-Logical data center server and infrastructure offerings.
Together, Rackable Systems energy-efficient, high-performance servers, bundled with NetApps storage solutions, will deliver industry-leading performance, scalability, density and manageability to customers in key industries, including the enterprise, oil and gas, financial services and government sectors. NetApps complete line of storage solutions, including the FAS series, will address the needs of customers seeking high storage utilization and thin provisioning. The new NetApp offerings will also be available in Rackable Systems customizable ICE Cube modular data center.
