September 4, 2008 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Mailtrust (http://www.mailtrust.com), the email arm of web hosting provider Rackspace (http://www.rackspace.com), has announced a Hosted Exchange offering for resellers, it was reported recently. According to the company, whereas previously its 450-plus resellers could only offer Managed Exchange 2003 or Noteworthy®, Mailtrusts premier web-based business-class email platform, they are now able to offer customers a Hosted Exchange 2007.
The transition to Hosted Exchange 2007 is due in large part to a newly redesigned Control Panel for Mailtrust users. The panel allows Mailtrust users to administer their email domain and the company suggests the new version is even easier, faster, and more flexible. Users can add or remove Exchange and Noteworthy mailboxes in the same interface and domain.
Mailtrust has more than 450 resellers offering Mailtrusts superior messaging services to end customers, explained Manager of Reseller Sales at Mailtrust, Adam Williams. Theses resellers are a vital aspect of our business model, accounting for more than 545,000 Noteworthy mailboxes on 113,000 domains. In return, our resellers benefit from our 100 percent uptime guarantees and industry-leading support, as well as a customizable business email solution to sell to their customers, which can save them heartache and money.
Hosted Exchange 2007 enhancements include two-gigabyte mailboxes, larger public folders, web access tools with AJAX enabled interface, and can be fully synchronized with Noteworthy. Mailtrusts hybrid Hosted Exchange/Noteworthy solution allows Exchange users to utilize the Exchange environment and Noteworthys business-class email suite.
Mailtrust provides more than 100,000 companies with business-class email hosting, managing and maintaining their email service and hosting infrastructure. The companys email systems are housed in Rackspaces data centers to help ensure uptime. Founded in 1999, and acquired by Rackspace in 2007, Mailtrust has headquarters in Blacksburg, Virginia, USA.
