Rackspace Email Arm Announces Hosted Exchange Offering |

September 4, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Mailtrust™ (http://www.mailtrust.com), the email arm of web hosting provider Rackspace (http://www.rackspace.com), has announced a Hosted Exchange offering for resellers, it was reported recently. According to the company, whereas previously its 450-plus resellers could only offer Managed Exchange 2003 or Noteworthy®, Mailtrust’s premier web-based business-class email platform, they are now able to offer customers a Hosted Exchange 2007.
The transition to Hosted Exchange 2007 is “due in large part” to a newly redesigned Control Panel for Mailtrust users. The panel allows Mailtrust users to administer their email domain and the company suggests the new version “is even easier, faster, and more flexible”. Users can add or remove Exchange and Noteworthy mailboxes in the same interface and domain.
“Mailtrust has more than 450 resellers offering Mailtrust’s superior messaging services to end customers,” explained Manager of Reseller Sales at Mailtrust, Adam Williams. “Theses resellers are a vital aspect of our business model, accounting for more than 545,000 Noteworthy mailboxes on 113,000 domains. Hosted Exchange 2007 enhancements include two-gigabyte mailboxes, larger public folders, web access tools with AJAX enabled interface, and can be fully synchronized with Noteworthy. Mailtrust’s hybrid Hosted Exchange/Noteworthy solution allows Exchange users to utilize the Exchange environment and Noteworthy’s business-class email suite.
