Web Hosting and Domain Name Provider Register.com and InfoStreet Partner, Launch InstantName
February 22, 2007 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - Web hosting and domain name provider Register.com has partnered with InfoStreet Inc., the provider of StreetSmart, an on-demand IT software suite. The two organizations will collaborate on InstantName, a domain registration service.
InstantName will be powered by StreetSmart and offer “one-stop” domain registration alongside hosting and maintenance packages at competitive prices. “A domain without accompanying services is as good as a license plate without a car. While many places may offer domains inexpensively, the email, hosting and related packages all come at extra costs,” explained CEO of InfoStreet, Siamak Farah. “By bundling StreetSmart's state-of-the-art and proven on-demand solutions, we ensure clients can put their domain to use immediately".
Both users registering new or transferring existing domains receive a range of on-demand web applications including email, Web Site Creator, calendaring and address book.
