Windows Hosting Provider ResellerChoice Offers Windows 2008 VPS Hosting Plans

The plans run on Hyper-V and are preloaded with software by SmarterTools and DotNetPanel. According to the company the plans “cater to hosting companies and developers looking to add Windows 2008 services or develop custom applications on the new Windows 2008 server platform”. “We have avoided offering VPS hosting plans in the past but with the release of Windows 2008 Hyper-V this has given us the ability to provide a powerful and reliable windows VPS hosting platform to our customers,” explained ResellerChoice CEO, Rob Conley. “In addition we are proud to be one of the first providers to go live with Windows 2008 VPS hosting plans running on Hyper-V. We have added new hardware and network capacity to support our Windows VPS hosting servers with our recent expansion in Peer1 NYC and expect to expand our VPS offerings to Texas and Seattle locations by the end of the year.” Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V allows users to establish “multiple server roles” within Windows server, making them operate as Windows Virtual Machines (VMs) “running on a single physical machine”. Hyper-V also fully leverages x64 computing and facilitates the use of different operating systems such as Windows and Linux from the same machine.
