Richard Dresden has been appointed Senior Vice President of Sales and Field Operations of Ensono North America.
Ensono is a leading hybrid IT solutions provider specializing in “progressive IT solutions” that enable its customers to establish an infrastructure with an eye on the future. With headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, United States, the company “works across all platforms – mainframe to cloud, and everything in between” to establish solutions that support mission-critical workloads for businesses. Mr. Dresden will oversee a number of areas at the company including client acquisition, account management, and the company’s channel activity.
Mr. Dresden is a 20-year industry veteran whose expertise lies in a number of areas including Software-as-a-Server (SaaS), cloud computing, managed services and IT outsourcing. He has a BA from Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He is currently taking an MS in Engineering at Northwestern University. He joined Ensono from SaaS-based analytics company Mattersight where he was Executive Vice President of Sales. Before Mattersight he worked with CenturyLink, and before CenturyLink, he founded Savvis. His cloud and IT background coupled with his leadership experience will be vital to Ensono’s plans to broaden the reach of its managed IT services.

"As Ensono continues to grow, we need to be able to scale accordingly and Richard knows how to grow and scale an organization, particularly in IT and managed services."
