Richard Warley has joined communications, hosting, cloud and IT services company
CenturyLink. The company, which has headquarters in Monroe, Louisiana, USA, provides a range of services including 'Big Data" analytics, IT consulting, and data and network management. It operates 55 data centers across the United States and has facilities in Europe and Asia. Mr. Warley joins CenturyLink as Managing Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operations. He will be responsible for increasing revenue through managing the company's sales strategy and client relationships, and be in charge of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Mr. Warley brings a significant level of experience to his new role at CenturyLink. His last position was CEO at IPsoft, a company which specializes in automated IT and business operations. IPsoft offers a range of solutions, including Amelia - what the company calls the "first cognitive agent who understands like a human". Other former positions included CEO of Tokyo-based data center, cloud, network and IT services company KVH. He was also International Managing Director at Savvis.
