Smartsheet has been awarded runner up position in Seattle Business Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For award for 2015. The company, which has headquarters in Bellevue, Washington, USA, provides a well-known collaboration and work management platform.
Smartsheet offers a "spreadsheet-like interface" alongside functions like file sharing, Gantt chart and work automation capabilities. The company caters to a range of businesses and organizations of all sizes and integrates cloud-based applications such as Google for Work, Box, Dropbox, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office 365. This is the second year in a row the company has been mentioned in these awards.
Seattle Business Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For award considers businesses across Washington state and winners are chosen based on employee surveys which consider factors such as corporate culture, benefits, and employee development. In 2014 Smartsheet won the mid-sized business category award. This year, with a staff increase from 170 to in excess of 300 personnel, the company competed in the "Large Business" category. The awards were given at the Washington State Convention Center on July 1, 2015. Zillow was the winner of the category.
