Sage Networks acquires virtual web hosting divisions of Dialtone Internet

Acquisition of Dialtone's Web Hosting To Go and T3 Hosting Divisions Continues Sage Networks' Acquisition Strategy.

CAMBRIDGE, MA, January 7, 1999 - Sage Networks, Inc., a company focused on becoming the industry benchmark in Web hosting, today announced it has completed the acquisition of Dialtone Internet's Web Hosting To Go and T3 Hosting divisions. Dialtone Internet (http://www.dialtoneinternet.net) is a leading Web hosting company located in Pembroke Pines, FL. With the acquisition of Dialtone Internet's virtual Web hosting divisions, Sage Networks continues to be a leader in the consolidation of Web hosting, an industry which Forrester Research estimates will grow to over $10 billion by the year 2002.

Today's Announcement Marks Sage Networks' Eleventh Acquisition.

The acquisition of Web Hosting To Go and T3 Hosting will add a large network of customers and resellers to Sage Networks' current operations. Dialtone's dedicated and co-located customers will continue operations with Dialtone Internet in Florida. Sage Networks will migrate Dialtone Internet's virtual hosting customer base to its Atlanta data facility and customer care center.
