Arbor Networks has announced today that ScaleMatrix has opted for their Peakflow SP platform, the leading network wide infrastructure and traffic monitoring platform.
The use of the Peakflow SP platform will ensure that DDoS attacks are identified and diminished before they reach their customers. Upon identification of a potential attack the platform will direct the traffic to the Arbor Threat Management System where it is consequently dealt with, while genuine business traffic is still allowed to be passed through directly to the customer.

Arbor’s Peakflow platform also consists of a new feature, the ATLAS Intelligence feed. This delivers DDoS signatures in real time to protect networks from a number of botnet-fuelled DDoS attack toolsets and their variants.
