Web Host Server Intellect Adds R1Soft’s Continuous Data Protection Solution
January 13, 2009 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web host Server Intellect has added R1Soft’s Continuous Data Protection solution to its 1,200 servers, it was announced recently. The company, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with “triple competency including Hosting Solutions”, chose CDP because of its robust nature and a range of features that include open file backups and the ability to “help centralize and streamline administration through the flexibility provided by the Service Provider API”.

Server Intellect’s new service allows dedicated and VPS clients to “login to the backup Web server and restore their backups from anywhere in the world”. Seven offsite databases backups are done daily alongside a local copy generated every 3 hours. The system allows Server Intellect customers to “easily restore any database from up to 7 days prior, or as early as up to 3 hours”.
