ServerPoint Introduces WordPress Blog Hosting Service |

The new service, which is available on all existing shared hosting plans at no additional charge, offers customers a pre-installed, fully configured and optimized copy of WordPress, an open source blog application. With the customization, features such as comment spam protection and database caching, to prevent failure under heavy traffic, are included. Customers can easily select from over 50 free themes for their site, and can get their blog started in just minutes.

ServerPoint has been developing the new service for the past several months, and it will continue to refine and update its version of the software in the future. ServerPoint’s auto-installer script completely configures WordPress and builds the database, so customers can simply log in and begin blogging.
