Canadian Registrar and Web Hosting Company Sibername.com Registers Over 3000 “.EU” Domains
April 26, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Canadian registrar and web hosting company Sibername.com (http://sibername.com), a EURID accredited registrar enjoyed substantial success issuing domain names during the recent “.EU” land-rush.
The company received 8,000 land-rush applications and was immediately able to convert 1,300 requested domains into registrations. The company ultimately provided over 3000 registrations and will be offering registration services for domains that are currently unavailable due to prior applications. Sibername expects this service to go live in June.
Alongside “.EU” domains Sibername.com offers registration for over 20 other domain extensions. More than 1.6 million “.EU” domains have been registered since April 7, 2006.
