Exabytes SG is now an SGNIC accredited registrar. The company, which is part of the Exabytes Group of Companies and whose services include hosting alongside cloud, dedicated server, reseller, SSL web certification and Virtual Private Servers (VPS) options, is recognized as being one of Singapore’s leading providers. Established in 2001, the company had to meet stringent SGNIC requirements to become an official SGNIC registrar.
Launched in 1995, SGNIC is a domain governing organization overseeing Internet domains in Singapore. These domains include those with .SG, .COM.SG, .EDU.SG, .ORG.SG, .GOV.SG, and .NET.SG extensions. To date,
SGNIC has facilitated the sale of around 150,000 Singapore-based domains. Now that Exabytes SG has gained SGNIC accreditation, the company will have a stronger role in promoting ecommerce in Singapore.
