April 11, 2006 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Singaporean web hosting company 8 to Infinity (http://www.8.to) has announced it is extending its current domain registration offer. The company’s “Buy 1 Get 1 Free” program applies to “.com.sg” and “.sg” domains and is available to ‘qualified’ registrants.
The promotion entitles purchasers of any specific “.sg” domain to receive the corresponding “.com.sg” (or vice versa) free of charge. The 2nd domain will also be pointed towards the first without additional cost. Initially valid from 1 September 2005 to 28 Feb 2006, the offer has been extended to 31 August 2006.
Discussing the offer 8 to Infinity’s Chief Technical Officer Lim Boon Chuan suggested, "We are very encouraged by the response to our free domain hosting packages. We plan to enlarge our base of “.sg” domains under this special promotion and hopefully put them on the world Internet map."
