SiteGround Launches Hosting Program Targeting University Students, Faculty Members, and Academic Organizations
SiteGround has launched a hosting program targeting university students, faculty members, and academic organizations. The program is a formal extension of SiteGround's ongoing support for university students - the company previously provided free hosting to the students of several university professors using its hosting services.

SiteGround's new program still enables approved professors using its services to enroll their students for a free hosting account, but now also allows individual students to apply for a "full-featured hosting account" with substantial discounts for a period of one year. Applicants must make their application using a ".edu" email address.

“Now that we have successfully helped more than 700 students get a high-quality hosting for their university courses we are ready to move forward and extend this opportunity to the whole population of future designers, developers, and content creators to try state-of-the-art hosting solution,” explained SiteGround’s marketing department representative and program coordinator, Ilia Markov.

SiteGround's program also extends to student organizations who can now receive free website hosting.
