Internap Signs Next Generation Web Hosting Provider SoftLayer to Expand US On-demand Hosting Platform |

March 8, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Internap (http://www.internap.com/) has signed ‘next generation’ web hosting provider SoftLayer (http://www.softlayer.com) to expand its on-demand hosting platform throughout the United States, it was reported recently. The contract is worth $40 Million over a 5 year period. The two companies will work together to enable businesses to operate "serverless IT departments" through “real-time technology, network-within-the-network services and automated installation, monitoring and management tools.”
