Russian Spam King Drugged and Beaten to Death
| July 28, 2005 - (HOSTSEARCH.COM) - According to the newspaper Kommersant the Russian spam king Vardan Kushnir was found beaten to death in his ransacked apartment in central Moscow. Russia's most prolific spammer, Kushnir was a peddler of porn sites and real estate sites sending millions of unsolicited emails rumored to have been sent to every PC in the country at least once. Kushnir was last seen alive at a nightclub where he invited 3 young women back to his apartment with him where he was drugged and then apparently killed in a scuffle while his apartment was robbed. Police claim the murder was a simple case of robbery and not revenge from an irate email user or a contract killing. |
