Banno has announced Charles E. Potts as president. Mr. Potts will oversea Banno's entire operations and has been charged with streamlining the company's business strategy.
Banno, a Cedar Falls, Iowa company, specializes in providing a range of solutions for financial institutions with the aim of strengthening their relationship with consumers. These services include hosting and website design which utilizes the company's proprietary Content Management System (CMS). Other services include white-label mobile solutions that offer services such as account aggregation, branch/ATM location search, details of account-to-account transfers and bills paid, and Cre8 My Card, a card payment application that integrates with card vendors.
Mr. Potts, who has sat on Banno's advisory board since 2010, brings 25 years of experience in financial technology to his position. He joins the company from software company ProfitStars (a Jack Henry & Associates Inc. division) where he held the position of Managing Director of Business Alliances and International Sales and oversaw the company's growth in Europe and South America. Previous experience in the banking industry has also included an executive position at the former Citizens & Southern National Bank, which is now Bank of America. He is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and Georgia State University and currently sits on the board of PROFORMANCE.
Although he will start his new position on February 1, 2013, he will not immediately move to Iowa, but instead remain in Atlanta where he is based with his family.
