July 19, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Kaspersky Lab (http://www.kaspersky.com) and SWsoft (http://www.swsoft.com), have partnered to create the “Plesk Anti-Virus Powered by Kaspersky” solution. The solution is available both for Linux and Windows, and it enables providers using the SWsoft Plesk control panel to “add more protection against spyware, Trojans, worms, key loggers and other malicious programs”.
According to the two companies, Plesk Anti-Virus Powered by Kaspersky “combines reactive antivirus and spyware detection methods with proactive technologies to provide the most effective protection for hosted email.” Easily installed, the software is available as an add-on for Plesk 8.1 for Windows and Linux users in Plesk 8.2.
