Symantec's Certificate Intelligence Center Now Supports A10 Thunder ADCs
Symantec's Certificate Intelligence Center now supports A10 Thunder Application Delivery Controllers offering users a simple and effective means of managing security information including certificates, key size records, details of ciphers, and validity dates.

The move is a response to the fact that web-based applications require additional encryption to ensure website and application privacy, particularly for email. This adds an IT burden to companies and organizations which need to keep abreast of current threats and address them. To do this they need real-time information to determine their response to security issues, particularly to those related to digital certificates and keys management.

Symantec and A10's partnership means users now have a simplified approach to keys management which reduces the number of keys certificates required - the system provisions certificates directly for each server used. Through integration with the Symantec Certificate Intelligence Center, customers are offered current details for all certificates on all A10 devices within a network. In addition, users benefit from alerts indicating expiration information and providing certificate usage optimization with no security coverage gaps. In addition, users benefit from reduced costs.

"Together A10 and Symantec provide a complete view of an organizations' digital certificates and keys, enabling efficient operation, user confidence, and ultimately brand reputation," explained the Vice President of Marketing at A10, Jason Matlof. "We are very happy to be working with a leader like Symantec to make it easier for our customers to keep their infrastructures up to date and secured."
