Accenture has acquired Salesforce partner CRMWaypoint. Accenture, which has incorporated headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, and US headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, helps organizations “move to the cloud” by offering a range of “As-a-Service solutions” and providing “industry-focused cloud services”. The company has around 373,000 staff in around 120 countries. Financial aspects of the deal were not released, but it was announced that CRMWaypoint’s team will be absorbed by Accenture.
CRMWaypoint, which has headquarters in Hilversum, Netherlands, was founded in 2006. The company provides “cloud advisory and technology services” and focuses entirely on Salesforce cloud solutions. It is a leading Salesforce partner in Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg) with over 80 “Salesforce certifications”. It has provided Salesforce projects to over 600 customers.
Accenture’s acquisition of CRMWaypoint is intended to support its “Cloud First Agenda” and enhance its Salesforce activity. It will better enable Accenture to address the needs of customers with Salesforce cloud solutions and provide a “high-standard cloud strategy and technology consulting, as well as cloud application implementation, integration and management services”.
“The addition of CRMWaypoint gives us access to a sizable force of highly skilled and sought-after Salesforce professionals in the Netherlands and beyond,” explained the Cloud First Applications lead for Accenture in the Netherlands, Mr. Peter van Tilburg. “Together we are even better positioned to meet the growing demand for cloud solutions. Our Cloud First agenda is focused on helping clients improve their business growth, agility and competitive advantage by leveraging all of the benefits cloud can deliver.”
