Web Hosting Provider Go Daddy Works with Intel on Secure Remote Configuration

September 26, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider Go Daddy (http://www.godaddy.com/) has been working with Intel on a project to enable users of its Deluxe Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificates to remotely configure and work on computers in a secure environment.

“Whether you are down the hall or across the country, this innovative technology makes it much easier to setup and upgrade computers,” explained Mr. Warren Adelman, Go Daddy President and Chief Operating Officer. “We wanted to make sure Go Daddy’s SSL was designed to work well with this service, so we could offer IT administrators an affordable product to keep their network secure.”

Computers with Intel Active Management Technology feature a unique way to gain remote access, even if the computers are powered off. Administrators can then view a computers’ hardware and software to figure out their status, complete patches, make upgrades and diagnose potential problems. Go Daddy Deluxe SSL ensures proper security for operations of this type. Go Daddy’s SSL certificates are offered as Standard, Deluxe and the Premium with Extended Validation and all offer up to 256-bit encryption.
