CEO and Founder of Web Host GoDaddy.com Bob Parsons Commencement Speaker for Western International University Graduation 2008 Ceremony
April 18, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Mr. Bob Parsons, the CEO and Founder of web host GoDaddy.com (http://www.godaddy.com), will be the commencement speaker for the Western International University (WIU – http://www.wintu.edu) Graduation ceremony in 2008, it was announced recently. According to the university, a leading adult education institute, Mr. Parsons was chosen as he “brings to the table everything that we try to instill in our students”.
Mr. Parsons, a former U.S. Marine, saw action in Vietnam and received a Purple Heart alongside the Combat Action Ribbon and Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. After the army he received an Accounting degree from the University of Baltimore. Mr. Parsons has received a number of awards including Arizona's Business Leader of the Year. He has driven Go Daddy to be bigger than its three closet rivals combined.
