GoDaddy.com Official Broadcast Sponsor for the NASCAR Napa Auto Parts 200 on Canadian TV
July 11, 2008 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – GoDaddy.com (http://www.GoDaddy.com) is the “Official Broadcast Sponsor” for the NASCAR Napa Auto Parts 200 on Canadian TV, it was reported recently. In addition, Canadian driver Ron Fellows will drive the No. 5 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet in the upcoming race which takes place August 2, 2008 and will be shown on “Canada’s leading 24-hour all-sports network”, TSN at 3 p.m. EDT.
“You could say the stars aligned for this Montreal race,” explained Bob Parsons, CEO and Founder of GoDaddy.com. “Ron Fellows is a fan favorite in Canada. He’ll be in our Go Daddy car and he’s right at home driving a road course. The broadcast sponsorship is the icing on the cake.”
“It is fitting for me to be in this car for this race,” explained Fellows. “It’s a sharp-looking car, it was designed by Dale, Jr. and Go Daddy is all about performance. I’m pumped and ready to roll in Montreal.”
The event will spearhead Go Daddy’s launch into the Canadian market with a new subsidiary, Go Daddy Domains Canada. The company has opened an office in Ontario, and will soon be offering Canadian top-level domain (TLD) “.CA” domain names.
