Web Hosting Provider The Planet Named in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 List for Texas
October 18, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Web hosting provider The Planet (http://www.theplanet.com) has been named in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 List for the US state of Texas, it was announced yesterday. The annual survey ranks the 50 fastest growing local technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies based on percentage of revenue growth over five years from 2002 through 2006. The second consecutive year The Planet has been included in this list, the company has moved up four spots to #12 on the list.

To be included in the Technology Fast 50 list organizations must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2002 and $5,000,000 in 2006, and be headquartered in North America. There are 16 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada, and companies are automatically entered into the Fast 500 program (http://www.fast50.com), which ranks North America’s top 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies.
