The company, which bills itself as the world’s largest privately held dedicated hosting company, is offering a “Fill Your Cart” promotion, with discounts of up to 28 percent on the company’s “most robust, high-end servers”.

In addition to the Fill Your Cart promotion, the company has revived its “Double Down Select” promotion, which allows customers to double RAM, hard disk space or bandwidth for no additional cost on selected servers including the Celeron 2.0+ and Xeon 3210-SAS (although applicable servers will change on a weekly basis). The company is also launching discounted firewall upgrades, including the Checkpoint X16 (available at a 22% saving), and the Checkpoint XU (available at a 26% saving). Existing customers will receive 50% off RAM, hard disk or bandwidth upgrades.
The Planet caters for 22,000 small- and medium-size businesses and 6.7 million websites worldwide. Its Double Down Select promotion runs until June 16, 2008, while the other promotions run until June 30, 2008 or “while supplies last”.
