Cloud Storage Platform Provider Nirvanix to Add Mid-Continent Node at The Planet
September 17, 2008 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Cloud storage platform provider Nirvanix (http://www.nirvanix.com) is to add a mid-continent node at The Planet (http://www.theplanet.com), it was announced yesterday. The company will add another node to its global Storage Delivery Network (SDN) based at The Planets D2 data center in Dallas. Texas, USA.
Nirvanix has a global cluster of storage nodes on the East and West Coasts of the United States, as well as in Europe and Asia. The Planet provides the companys latest access point. Nirvanix will use Dell servers and storage for its platform for the first time and full implementation is expected in the fourth quarter of 2008.
