The company, which bills itself as “the global leader in IT hosting”, is offering what it is calling an industry first – a “highly scalable and on-demand storage cloud service” facilitated through a merger of on-premise storage performance with cloud storage capabilities. The service, which is being made available on a “limited” basis, provides “the industry’s only geographically distributed cloud storage platform” and allows companies to extend their hosted environments directly into the cloud.
