Traffic West Addresses Record Level Domain Hijackings

February 24, 2005
February 24, 2005 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – As domain hijackings are occurring at record levels - and registrars and law enforcement are doing little to prevent this illegal activity - TRAFFIC WEST will be held in Las Vegas from May 24th to the 27th at the Venetian hotel and will focus solely on the widening problem of hijacking valuable domains. The event is being organized by the World Association of Domain Name Developers.

"On any given day your domain name, website and entire business could be gone and there is nobody to call, nobody to help, no authority in charge. A lot of registrars and others are turning a blind eye to this increasing menace," says WADND cofounder Rick Schwartz. "Some are even aiding and abetting this disgusting practice and we are going to expose them."

TRAFFIC 2004, held in Delray Beach, Florida last October, was a raging success as it brought domain owners from around the world together for the very first time to discuss domains and the "targeted traffic" they produce. Now these folks are set to meet in Las Vegas to discuss the crisis and hire a lobbyist to protect domain owners against this epidemic. To attend the "invitation only" event you can go to www.targetedtraffic.com or email admin@targetedtraffic.com
