April 19, 2007 – (HOSTSEARCH.COM) – Truston, the “largest vendor of library systems in the Netherlands”, has chosen Terremark’s managed hosting subsidiary Dedigate, N.V. (http://www.dedigate.com) as its strategic hosting partner, it was announced yesterday.
Truston’s selection of Dedigate came after an “extensive selection process”. The company was chosen based on the quality and scalability of its platforms. Truston’s BiblioByte ASP environment – an application especially designed for libraries - will be hosted by Dedigate at its Amsterdam center. BiblioByte manages front and back office library services alongside facilitating management and personnel administration.
“To relieve our users of all application-related issues, we decided to market our package in an ASP model,” explained Truston’s Sales Manager, Rene de Vos. “It quickly became apparent that Terremark was the best option to outsource our critical infrastructure.”
