November 22, 2007 (HOSTSEARCH.COM) Tucows (http://www.tucows.com/), a provider of Internet services to companies and ISPs worldwide, has launched programs it suggests will enable it to share over $1 million in revenues with its resellers in 2008.
The companys two relaunched programs, the Parked Pages Program and Expired Domains Program offer additional sources of revenue to resellers, including revenue generated through the companys Premium Domains service.
Domain parking generates additional revenues through targeted pay-per-click (PPC) advertising. Adverts are displayed through unused domain names. In addition, Tucows service allows advertising to be displayed through domain names that have expired. Tucows provides a 50-50 split of all net advertising revenue with the reseller.
"We'll be putting over $1 million into the pockets of our resellers over the next 12 months," explained Domains, Tucows Incs Product Manager, Mr. Adam Eisner. "These domain parking programs offer tangible proof of the value Tucows places on the relationships that we've built with our resellers, and they provide us with a way to reward our customers for their continued loyalty to Tucows."
Tucows provides a range of services for hosting companies and ISPs including billing solutions, email boxes and domain management. The company is an ICANN accredited registrar. Alongside the Parked Pages and Expired Domains programs, Tucows offers free WHOIS privacy and managed DNS and provides domain name resellers with enhanced domain name search and selling tools.
